The box plant, housed in a 16,000 square meter, single floor, single roof building on a 12 acre plot, is located a short distance away from the paper plant and is therefore as well connected to the various industrial centers in southern India.

Processing equipment

The main processing equipment comprises of a 1800 mm wide 5 ply, continuous corrugated board line with a designed speed of 250 m/min complete with web splicers and auto downstacker, one 1200 x 2400 mm two colour flexo case maker with auto bundler.

Well equipped Office with Administrative and Logistical personnel for operational planning and transactions, supported by SAP ERP systems

Quality Certification:

SIPM-PPD is in the process of obtaining ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 certification.

SIPM-PPD Logistics Support:

SIPM-PPD will make deliveries in its own closed container vehicles within a radius of 250km.

Besides setting up its own/franchised JIT delivery warehouses near large volume customers in specific industrial locales, SIPM-PPD intends to supply certified specification corrugated boards (printed or unprinted) to those independent box makers who wish to complete final box making and packing operations locally to service their customer base with just in time deliveries. Components and boxes can also be supplied on short delivery lead times to warehouse service providers of large manufacturers.
